Brethren, Friends, and Neighbors of Spokane, A very Happy New Year to you all!
As the calendar turns and we welcome the promise of a fresh year, there is a distinct hum of excitement in the air at Audubon Park Masonic Lodge #272. Usually, a new year means new resolutions and a fresh trestleboard. But this year is different. This year, we aren’t just stepping into January; we are stepping into history.
We are thrilled to announce the kickoff of the celebrations leading up to the 100-year Centennial of our beloved lodge.
For a century, Audubon Park Lodge #272 has been a fixture in Northwest Spokane. We have stood as a place of fellowship, charity, and personal growth through decades of immense change in our city and our world. To reach the 100-year mark is no small feat—it is a testament to the enduring principles of Freemasonry and the dedication of every Brother who has sat in lodge before us.
While this milestone is a time to reflect on our rich history, we are equally focused on the incredible vibrancy of our lodge today.
A centennial celebration requires vision and steady hands at the helm. We are immensely proud to enter this historic era led by an exceptionally strong team of officers. Their dedication to the ritual, their commitment to lodge fellowship, and their tireless work behind the scenes have ensured that we approach our 100th birthday not as a tired institution, but as a thriving, dynamic center of Freemasonry in Spokane.
Furthermore, the true measure of a Lodge’s health is its growth. As we celebrate our past, we are energized by our future. We are delighted to be welcoming a strong class of incoming Entered Apprentice and Fellowcraft Masons.
To these new brothers joining us at such a pivotal moment: welcome. You are beginning your journey at a time when the light of our lodge is shining brightly. You are the bridge to our next century, and we are honored to guide you on your path.
The upcoming year will be filled with special events, historical commemorations, and plenty of opportunities for fellowship as we honor this centennial achievement. We invite all local brethren to visit, and we encourage the Spokane community to learn more about who we are and what we do.
Here’s to a prosperous New Year, here’s to the strong leadership guiding us, and here’s to the first 100 years of Audubon Park Masonic Lodge #272!
So Mote It Be.
